We stayed at the Grand Hotel Europa booking through a "Mille Meraviglie" box set. Unfortunately the experience was not at all at the level that the box set should in theory be and we will not fail to report it to the known company. Nothing to take away from the staff that was courteous but it was really a bad experience, I never had to report a stay. The structure is a little dated but overall also pleasant. The area we knew already that it would have been less beautiful because it is the station anyway, but we thought we would arrive in a decent hotel anyway. The room they gave us, a suite, was quite large and "new" but furnished in a style not at all in line with the photos on the site or a sober classic style. It was clean but faced an inner courtyard so extremely dark and being a courtyard for privacy reasons you could not open the curtains. The very thin walls probably made of papier mache have meant that at night we were constantly woken up by the noises of other guests and in the morning we woke up at 7.30am as if someone were taking a shower inside our room. The main chandelier was electrocuted. The bed was made only with a sheet although there were less than 15 degrees these days in Naples. In the closet there was only one winter duvet without even the duvet cover so not in the best hygienic sanitary conditions. The dinner included in the package was decent - my partner asked for a caprese that really had a bad taste and a yellowish color, the waiter before changing it insisted several times that it was the normal taste of mozzarella fior di latte ... breakfast discreet, disappointing the coffee theme - there are machines that do not even provide the selected drink (see cappuccino that becomes American) or even Neapolitan mokes, which unfortunately, once finished, were not remade in the thirty of minutes that lasted the breakfast ...
