The staff overall were friendly and helpful. Though we have to cut our stay short as the room was dirty, the carpet was moldy, which I think is a health hazzard to my daughter. I cannot even walk on the floor without slippers as the carpets are quite disgusting. You can see food scraps, dust everywhere and stains on the sofa and sink. The room smells old, moldy and dirty. It is a shame because it is an expensive hotel and they consider themselves a five star hotel. We stayed in Shangri La Singapore and BGC and both are very clean and have good standards that is why I was so disappointed when I saw our room in Makati. There is also a noise that keeps going through the night. It is probably one of the worst hotel rooms I stayed in. In Makati you can stay in a very good hotel for a cheaper price with new and clean ammenities. I would encourage you to consider Fairmont or Raffles instead.
