During my stay at the Wildlife Rescue Centre Jogja; I swept the jungle, prepared meals for the animals & cleaned their enclosures, had my shirt grabbed a Makay, dug a ditch in the hot sun, feed honey straight into the mouth of an orangutan, sheared bamboo for a fence, fed live lizards to birds, helped teach English to local school children, fell in love with Indonesian food, walked through the Borobudur temple, had a proper dinner in a village home, starred in the eyes of orangutans, was spit on a few times by an orangutan, woke up to the sounds of the jungle every morning, played with tiny kittens every day, walked up and down Maliboro Street, met the most amazing people, & loved every moment!

None of these things would have been possible for me without Ecoteer. They are very hands on and were always available to guide me through the entire process of planning my trip. I felt very confident traveling so far, to a place I knew very little about, because I trusted that I had their support. I was never disappointed! I would highly recommend ECOTEER to anyone who wants to have a REAL adventure, make the world a little bit nicer of a place, and see/do things that they have never imagined possible before.
