When my husband and I decided it was time, we visited the retirement communities in this region and chose Asbury as the best. We frequently congratulate ourselves on our choice. The beautiful grounds feature two ponds with a visiting blue heron, as well as many lovely trees and flower plantings. Our house, half of a duplex, is attractive and well designed . Associates, from top managers through housekeepers and handymen, are consistently capable and obliging; they seem to like working here. Asbury is pet-friendly and has recently installed a spacious dog park, where dogs and their human guardians can socialize. Our neighbors are interesting, and there are enough people here to provide an ample variety of social experience. We have numerous cultural events here, notably the lectures and musical evenings sponsored by the Keese School and the Strathmore Music Center.
