Went for a birthday dinner last night to this love...

Went for a birthday dinner last night to this lovely view restaurant. Sat my husband and I at a table overlooking the river and city with a full moon shining. Tucker our waiter seemed to be very knowledgeable in the menu and specials. Started out by ordering a Chardonnay bottle of wine we were familiar with with a reasonable $40.00 price tag. Tucker arrived with it and made a presentation of is this the one you ordered? My husband had to slip on his glasses and it was the name of the wine we had ordered. Had the delicious lobster bisque for an appetizer. Ordered the scallops and hubby had shrimp fettuccine. Both of which were prepared perfectly and very good. Tucker arrived back and asked about dessert. We said do you do anything for birthdays? Yes, he said so we ordered the key lime pie. Then it was time for the tab. The wine was a surprisingly $55.00 as he said that is the one we ordered? The key lime pie was $7.00? We asked about both charges and he said he would see his manager. The bar manager arrived and said they would split the difference with us as it was our fault. Their resolution was to take off the price of dessert. Sadly lacking in customer service by these two professionals? I feel like we were scammed at this lovely establishment that we have been going to for years. Never again! SomI would say to all of you contemplating eating here don t do it or buyer beware. Tucker, we are so disappointed in you and no words for your boss who was a real jerk. Your response is a perfect example of your customer service! If our waiter had given us terrific service you would have wanted me to recognize him. Shame on you and your establishment
