Myles Anderson Review of Flight Network
I definitely will not be a repeat customer. I call...
I definitely will not be a repeat customer. I called them because the website wouldn t let me remove their own baggage protection plan from the cart despite having only carry-on selected. I ended up booking tickets with them over the phone, despite the price being only $17 less than directly with the airline, specifically for their price drop protection. When I asked the details of that protection I was assured the difference would be returned to my credit card. This is not the case, it is returned as a travel voucher. I also asked about different fare tiers on the outbound and return flights to save some money, explaining that I didn t care about the tiers, just as long as I would have the same baggage allowances on both flights. I was told that if a certain fare tier is booked on the outbound flight, then the system automatically chooses the same tier on the return and it couldn t be changed to different tiers. I was assured that I had the same carry-on allowance for both flights. Upon checking in with the airline for the return flight I was advised that my flight didn t include any baggage and would have to pay for carry-on. To their credit, when I contacted them to have the baggage cost returned they reviewed the recorded call and agreed that I was mislead, then returned the cost. However, they refused to acknowledge that the agent mislead me on the difference in fare tiers because they claim the correct price was paid for each tier. While I believe that is likely true, the fact remains that misrepresenting a product at the time of sale is illegal. Overall it was a negative experience, and I would never recommend them as a service provider.
