A salesperson told me a $499 ad-on security package was required. This is not so. When I complained, the dealership corrected the problem but a complaint and correction should not be required to make a sale right. The Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council (AMVIC) is the oversight agency for vehicle sales if one is not satisfied with a dealership.
