Stuck dealing with RTI? Read on. As they describe themselves, they are the recognized leader for treating patients of emergency physicians... like animals. Worst customer service disrespect ever in my life. If you are reading this, you have probably stumbled upon it for the same reason I did. You received an incorrect/inaccurate bill from an emergency physician who has outsourced his/her services to this miserable outfit. You will be scolded, sworn at, threatened with debt collection to pay or else. This happened with every customer service rep that I spoke with (3 in total) and probably happened to you. Word of advice--don't bother dealing/responding to RTI. They treat you like animals because they are animals themselves. Don't debase yourself to their level. Do what I did. Find the director of the hospital or preferably the ER at the hospital you were treated at (do not give up in finding the right person--it took me days of forwarding along various gate-keepers to find the right person who could help me), and calmly describe what kind of an outfit Dr. so-and-so is employing and tell them to read the reviews online. Odds are they'll understand and over time, we will drive this scoundrel business into the ground. My end of story: I got a complete refund and so did my insurance company. Good luck to everyone!
