I have spent a great deal of time in hospitals over my lifetime, due to extensive medical issues. The latest being a surgical hernia from having my kidney removed from cancer. My surgeon Dr. Sayegh, I called because the pain had gotten too bad and surgery is scheduled for the 19th of August. He was beyond kind and told me to come to Jupiter ER as he would be there in the morning in case the surgery had to be pushed up. I have to say. From the moment I was wheeled in the doors of this hospital I have experienced the level of care I never have anywhere else. My Triage Nurse, Amanda, even though I was in pain was able to make me laugh and calm my fears due to the current state of the world. She is a joy and in the right career. My room was ready almost instantly and my Nurse Sonia was kind and calming and didnt make me feel in anyway as an inconvenience. The Dr. who was standing in the room when I was wheeled in. He had an amazing bedside manner and I just wish so many other doctors could learn from Dr. Burkler. He listened. Truly listened to me as a patient. And made me feel at ease with the care here. Even the CT tech that did my imagining who was named Matthew was amazing. He was careful of my pain and talked with me as a person, not just as a number. I was scared to go into a hospital during this time with the virus. But I didnt have a choice. I am telling you. If you have no choice but to seek medical help in this time. GO TO JUPITER MEDICAL. These people are true heros and need to be recognized as such. Thank you all. From a truly grateful patient.
