It's strengths are also it's weaknesses. It reeks of long-ago grandeur and style. The architecture is opulent but dated, it is ornate but not beautiful. The chairs are velvet but have too many years of weight thrust upon them and sag terribly and are too close to the row in front of them. So it kind of reminds me of an aging movie star who was once beautiful and glamorous but now tries unsuccessfully to recapture her moments through excessive makeup and features which just aren't magical any more. Think Joan Collins :)
