My step daughter recently had her autism assessment with Healios. After a long wait in local services, her assessment was then processed quickly once passed over to Healios. She was able to access her observation appointment in the comfort of her own home, making it a much less anxiety provoking appointment than going into a clinic. The clinicians were thorough in gathering detailed history, and the report provided was very comprehensive.
We were made aware that they are only commissioned to offer the assessment, and post diagnostic support remained with the local camhs service.
Would highly recommend anyone offered a healios assessment to go for it.
