The absolute worst vacation I have ever had!

The absolute worst vacation I have ever had!
After reading the rest of the reviews on google while sitting here waiting for my flight in the room. All of the one star reviews are 100% correct. The five star reviews must either be paid for or they have no standards.

1st the experience was so horrible I have to write a review so that it may help others not go through the pain and suffering that my family and I experienced.

Staff: 1:10 are friendly and are willing to go the extra mile. Even with the concierge we were told things that never happened: ex.. went to book a spa appointment and were told they are closed at this time and they don t have access to their system to book it. So we went to the spa and miraculously they were open. Which the spa is a waste also. Concierge supervisor: tells you what you wanna hear and no follow through. Most of the staff. Look Through you and not at you. More over when you ask them for something they act as if they are making a special exception for you.

Restaurants: horrible!!! Long waits, poor service and food taste better at McDonald s.

Grounds: old and outdated the rooms are equivalent to the motel 6 in the 90 s when you barely had enough money to go on spring break. Club liquid is a joke, teen area, everything except table soccer was broken until I called customer service. Water sports. You have to have lessons on everything. If you don t they only do lessons at 9am. The beach maybe the size of a football field. Basketball courts are a joke. Water park was ok but small. Pool area crowded and not big enough to get a chair by the pool. The cabanas are extra not included . At 5:00 no matter if your family is playing volleyball with other families they take the ball and the net down. No matter if your still using it or not. Sesame street you better get use to hearing it day after day. Even my kids got tired of it. Elevator broke several times. I could go on and on but you get the idea.

Room: moldy smell throughout. Furnishings outdated. You have to ask for alcoholic beverages to be placed in the fridge. They do not change the sheets every time. Nor do they actually clean sandy floor feels great in bare feet when coming from the shower to the bed.

Entertainment: mediocre. The Dj s make it more about them and showing off then actually providing entertainment. My family and I watched the shows they had every night and
With a large crowd sitting in plastic chairs spread out in front of the stage not a big deal they would end the entertainment 9:30 every night with no exceptions. To me it seems if everyone is having a good time keep the party going.

Water sports: hobbie cat, kayaks, paddle boards, banana boat ride, and wind surfing. Shows on the website diving and snorkeling are all inclusive which they are but with exceptions. Diving is 2 trips a day they have special trips that cost extra which they don t tell you unless they see you can actually dive. Snorkeling you can only use the gear when in their trips if you wanna snorkel from the beach it s not included but you can purchase an over priced cheap snorkeling set. So bring your own if you have it.
The dive instructors and leaders however were excellent very patient with kids and adults during their certification.

Summary: don t waste you money at this resort until they completely overhaul it. Because we feel like we threw ours away. This review Isn t for any kind of consideration from the sandals brand it s to warn everyone else who takes the time to read it. If you come here get ready to hear NO! And we don t usually do that!
