After 11 hours travel time (2 round trips from Flagstaff) and over 10 hours of negotiations I thought I was about to leave the dealership with my new Dodge Durango SRT. Unfortunately, when I was in the finance persons office I discovered that Jeff (Sales Manager) deceived me in the negotiation by taking advantage of my lack of knowledge with leases. This lie he told "computer glitch is making the quote show no taxes on the car but there are $2,500 in taxes included in the price of the car" would have cost me $2,500 more than I agreed to pay had I not caught it in the end by asking the right questions. Turns out there is no sales tax on a lease, there is a use tax but that is part of the monthly payment and not part of the sales price. Long story short, due to Jeff's choice to try and pull a fast one on me, I lost out of 11 hours of my time driving and 10 hours of my time accomplishing nothing while my pregnant wife was missing out on time we could be spending together. I lost a weekend of my life because of DISHONESTY. That weekend of my time is much more valuable than $2,500 but I am a man of principal and as such it is not about the money it is about the business practice. I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS MANY OTHERS AVOID BUYING A CAR FROM THIS DEALER. I HOPE THEY LOSE 10 TIMES THE $2,500 THEY TRIED TO GET OUT OF ME IN LOST BUSINESS. KARMA IS REAL AND THIS PRACTICE OF DECEIT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BUSINESS!
The only good news I can give a prospective buyer is that Ty Washington is a phenomenal human and all around good guy. Unfortunately, he is a sales man and only the managers make executive decisions.
