I am a Diamond HH Members, so I know the standards of each Hilton Brands; in some, I look forward to stay but in some others; I'd rather have an option... This stay I had both experiences at the same time in the same location... Nelson Rodriguez (chief engineer) was my hero, he took the extra mile and took all my boxes to the next door hotel where we had our convention., He loaded up up my boxes and pushed the cart all the way to next door hotel. He also refused to take tips!!! Confirmed that he was doing it to comfort me, not to make an extra couple of dollars. Nelson is my hero. Kudos!!!!
The only reason I gave three starts here is was for Nelson! If it was not for Nelson I would have given only "one"star! The person at the reception desk was rude not only me but also to her co-workers. The second disappointment was for the bartender (Jackie) was rude. I asked her to switch one of the three TV Screens to CNN and she said '"it is company policy not to turn on any news channels in the bar, they are sad!" I think Hilton has to confirm this policy??
I am disappointed!!!
