I only have wonderful things to say about Hardin Memorial Hospital. My husband was brought there after suffering a cardiac arrest. From what I was told, he was a code blue and in grave condition. The ER staff treated him with care and dignity and stabilized him so a heart catheterization could be done. Dr. Mehta
and the Catheterization team, placed stents in an artery that was 100% blocked and found other blockages as well to be done at a later date. Dr. Cundiff and the Critical Care team was amazing while taking care of him. They were very professional, but at the same time, making sure he was treated with kindness and respect. Every time something was done, no matter how small, they explained to me what it was, why it was done, and how it would help him improve. When he was moved to PCU, the level of care never dropped. The staff there was awesome and never wavered in his care. All the while, from the ER, Critical Care and PCU, they not only took care of him, but there to support me as well. Whenever they saw me, they asked if I was ok, if I needed anything, or were just there for a smile, hug or word of encouragement . In my opinion, Hardin Memorial Hospital, along with other Angel's outside of the hospital, saved his life. I would never hesitate to go there for any emergency or procedure.
