I am on a historical site frenzy and The Mark Twain House certainly lived up to my expectations as being a fantastic site to visit. The tour was very informative and my guide was thoroughly knowledgeable about the Clemens family and especially about the great humorist and author Samuel Clemens. There are plenty of original pieces inside the home as well as restored furnishings. One is not allowed to take pictures inside the house (as I was able to at The John Adams home in Quincy, Massachusetts) and the price is $20 but don't let that deter you from visiting ths amazing historical home of a truly remarkable American. Highly recommended!
