Hired this law firm to take care of my condo sale and a full month after my closing date I received a surprise invoice that wasn't paid by them when the proceeds from the sale came through. This invoice negatively impacted my existing budget by $1,500 and all I got was a less than heartfelt apology. When I pressed the issue and informed them that they happily took their full fee of $950 + HST and didn't actually provide me with the full service they promised, I was mailed a cheque for $50 as compensation. Considering it amounts to exactly 4.6% of the actual fee paid, that amounts to a slap in the face. Avoid this firm at all costs if you want to actually have your real estate closing process done completely, competently and error free.
