Decent BBQ place with a wide meat selection. Dated and nostalgic interior but that goes to its no frills charm, this is not a fancy place, but more of a family place... Its for BBQ meats, BBQ beans, and people who love them. You will leave here with very very full bellies. I recommend the BBQ sandwich on garlic toast with your choice of meat. If you are extra hungry get the Kodiak... It adds a couple ribs to your sandwich meal. Oh, and try the New Shirley's bbq sauce, its a sweeter variant on the traditional Bear Pit house bbq sauce.
