It's quite a while since I've been here but wasn't impressed at all by the exhibits. There was one Barbara Hepworth thing made of lengths of aluminium angle and sheet bolted together which didn't impress and a lot of small and uninteresting pictures and sculptures. There was an exhibit of hundreds of pebbles laid out on the floor which I didn't understand, and a pile of children's shoes I looked at a while before realising a group of visiting children had been asked to remove their shoes. Also should say the car parking prices were very high.
Having said that, I asked about work by Mark Senior a 19th century local artist whose sold at high prices all over the world and was my mums uncle. They had quite a few but non on display, but arranged a private showing which was a great experience.
