AVOID RENTING FROM MAAS PROPERTIES!

Kris Maas is nearly impossible to contact by phone. She will answer text messages or email when it is convenient for her.

Kris Maas follows the golden rule; SHE has the gold so SHE makes the rules. She is very difficult to deal with and does nothing to provide customer service for her tenants.

Kris Maas is very slow to respond to repair issues. Our dishwasher went weeks in need of repair.

Kris Maas does not pay a lot of attention to the condition of her apartments when you move in. When you move out, she goes over the place in great detail. This results in her "finding" issues that are not on the condition work sheet when you moved in. Do not expect to get your full deposit back even if you leave the place as you found it.

When you move out, she expects you to be out of the place three days before the end of the month. She also expects you to pay the FULL month's rent, even though you are REQUIRED to be out the three days that you paid for. This results in you paying $90 or more ($30/day) and having to arrange for another place to stay.

Kris Maas made us lie to the utility company so she can avoid a fee.

Summary: If you must rent from Maas Properties, prepare yourself for an unpleasant experience.
