heres the story. We had our roof done last week and noticed that the very day the roof was finished, we d run out of hot water and our furnace was no longer turning on. We called pyramid and were placed to speak with an after hours technician (Deon) who walked me through all of the normal checks. Not once did he make me feel like I should know any of the information or questions he asked. He was very knowledgeable and kind and sympathized with our situation.

After talking for about 40 minutes, we determined that it may actually be an issue for Nw natural to advise on. NW natural confirmed that our hvac vent was blocked/ filled with something and that in the end we should reach out to our roofer as well as have it looked at by an hvac specialist.

I called pyramid hoping to get a same day visit and was advised that they were booked until next Wednesday. This was crushing. I believe I spoke with Nicole who listened to my frantic story and said she would try to get us in for after hours the next day but that she would see what else she could do. On my way home from work that very same day she called me again and said that specialist Randy was just getting off work but would come by our house on his way home to take a look at the situation. Randy was also very kind and knowledgeable and determined that our hvac vent in the attic was gone and that the hole that should be venting was covered in insulation.

He advised that he would need to come back tomorrow with an additional person to find the hole and reconnect the vent to outside.

Even though our issue is not yet resolved, I have been very satisfied with the level of service given by every single Pyramid employee I ve spoken to. We had them do work on our hvac 2 years ago and the service was memorable enough then that we opted to use their service again.
