The otherwise friendly staff were completely let down by the older barmaid with the glasses who was more intent on watching the footy than serving paying customers. Smart remarks & a serious attitude problem are more common place with this one than friendly banter you would expect in a pub. And dont bother asking for a replacement glass of coke that you paid for when you tell her the one she gave u is flat. Instead she ll stand there gawking at you as if u have 10 heads & argue with you that it s not flat. Seriously lady get out of hospitality if you hate your job so much.
3 out of our 5 dishes weren t nice and the battered fish & chips were sent back because the fish was rubbery as if it was reheated & the chips were cold. This is to be expected when it emerged from the kitchen 5 mins after ordering.
Certainly will not be back.
The 1 star is for the garlic cheese bread we were offered on the house because of our less than poor experience.
