For my mom s 60th birthday we did Zookeeper for a Day . The day started with filling grain buckets and loading hay. Next we were off to feed the warthogs, rhinos, giraffe, kudu, ostrich and other African hoof stock. We were climbing in and out of their feed truck with hay/grain and having the time of our lives the WHOLE time. Next we had a delicious lunch and were off to feed the cheetahs, birds, monkeys and small animals. The day ended with a grand finale of getting to wade over to lemur island (in boots) and hand feed them. WHAT A DAY! We had the best time. Every keeper we got to spend time with was wonderful and kept track of our time so we never needed to look at a clock. After the day was done we were taken to our tent overlooking the giraffes. Dinner and the tent stay was included in the price ($1000 total). We made the best memories and had one of the most incredible days here. It was a real treat and very special that every keeper was excited that we were having such a nice time. We LOVED it!!
