Brought a mom and 2 pups to this center. All found on side of highway and in great need of medical attention. The woman who checked in the animals took a kitten that was ill immediately...no questions asked. For our crew...she asked over and over where we found the dogs...it was obvious they had been through a lot of trauma. She said she needed to know in case owners look for them. So we guessed because it was like 105 outside and our main concern was to get them helped. After her 20 min proding about the location...she said they could NOT take the dogs cause they were not found in Travis county! Can you belive the injustice of this staff member. She should be ashamed!!! We had to lug all back home and leave in hot back yard to go to work. Such a shame! Whatever you do...LIE!! Say you found the animal in Travis county!!!
