One of the most iconic museum in the world. It holds the Mona Lisa that was painted by Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci. Surprisingly the actual portrait painting was quite small and there was a long line to get an up close view. Lots of other great prominent paintings inside and even found a statue of a sphinx from Egypt. Though I m not sure how that has to do with french history. And then there was a fortress with walls from a castle sometime ago. The outside architecture was spectacular too with the pyramid shaped buildings and water fountain. The best thing is going to this museum was free!!
