This has been an absolutely amazing experience. I would highly recommend this place. The staff were so friendly. Gary was my tour guide and I felt like I left there knowing Mark Twain (or should I properly say Sam Cleburn). Not just his house or his works, but personal stories about the family, how the estate progressed, etc. the architecture and design elements were worth the trip but the staff made it their mission to make you see the time period. Absolutely wonderful. I finished up my tour with a cup of hot tea from the cute cafe and took a walk through the wonderful gift shop. I am so thankful to David, the local on my plane that recommended spending my 4-5 hour wait here.
