I very satisfied with my stay at Avani Kalutara hotel. Hotel is cozy and nicely decorated as a Mangrow forest with a lot of beautiful details. I was greeted really good by front office receptionist Nuranga, he speaks English quite good and even know some Russian. All hotel stuff are very friendly and helpfull, service was provided on a highest level. Rooms are new and very clean. Clealing stuff made nice towel decor with flowers and always care to provide evough water. Special thanks for bartender Ravindra, who answered hundreds of my questions. Food was great and team were preparing something new for breakfasts everyday. There is no spa dedicated to rhe hotel, so I went to the nearby hotel Anantara, which is quite expensive, but the service proveded definitely deserve that price. Nadeesha at the spa reception provided very good service, explains every detail and even stayed longer hours for me.

There are some room for improvenent - it would be good to provide cleaning facilities in a gym, it's a worldwide practice whwn you can clean equipment before and after you use it with respect to other guests. Yoga mats required a renew, they are quite used. Cleaning 2 times a day is not really nessesary, or can be clarified during check in. For me it was s bit of interuption, espesially when my personal stuff was organised by someone else.
