I ve been with Custom Security for over 15 years... yesterday I allowed another security company... ADT to come into my home to show me their system. What a huge mistake I made. They went over the items in the security system I would receive if I signed a contract with them for only $27.99 a month. No other out of pocket cost to me except for the installation fee and they would give me a $100 Visa card to cover the installation. The ADT tech laid out all the system components for me to see - window and door sensors, motion sensors, smoke and fire sensors, key remotes, outdoor siren, and their keypad. She then said she wanted to show me how each part of the system worked. She removed my keypad from Custom Security stating she would now be able to show me how their system works better than any alarm system in the market. Once she had everything set up and showed us how it performed... She then started talking about the Cost for this system... this security system went from no outside cost to me to over $6000. I immediately told her this is not what I was told - I verified several times through their 1-800 #. She explained that when you call their 1-800 # that some of their people will tell you this so they can sign up more people. I told her I can not trust this company and we do not want their system. We ask her to remove everything. All of a sudden, the $6000 plus some system dropped to a little over $4000 we said no and please remove everything then the system dropped to $480 because they wanted to do right by us because I was told false information. We said no, remove everything and put my Custom Security Keypad back and connect it. Keep in mind, she is showing us how their equipment works, we have not agreed or signed a contract. My troubles were not over yet She then informs us that she can not put our Custom Security Keypad back. She said they do not train us on how to put it back. Why didn t she tell us this before removing it to show how their equipment worked?? I was furious. We would now be without our alarm working. I immediately called Custom Security and explained to them what had just taken place. They sent out a tech Tony promptly to put my keypad back on and get my home armed again. Custom Security had to also replace the box because the ADT tech damaged it. We learned a valuable lesson from this horrible experience. I am sharing our experience in hopes of preventing others from going through the same thing.

I have the up most respect for Custom Security. Thank you Custom Security and Tony for coming to our rescue so promptly. Your service and the way you treat your customers is outstanding. We most appreciate all you have done for us. We are Custom Security customers for life.
