If you're looking for the best Italian food/pizza in Norfolk per dollar you've found it. Del Vecchios is owned and operated by a New York City native and his family. Together with his staff, they lovingly craft Italian classics from scratch. Most things on the menu are made in-house with the exception of some fried appetizers and pastas, which is common for pizzerias. The restaurant is an ODU favorite, situated just across Hampton Blvd from the main campus. It is an Oasis on game days as it is a stones throw from ODU's football stadium and the Ted Constant Center. They are conveniently open much later than most restaurants; midnight Sun-Thurs and 3am Fri-Sat. Deliveries tend to take about an hour to arrive but if you want fast food quality pizza there and many Dominos franchises in the area. Great food, great staff, great location.
