BMW Toronto incorrectly diagnosed my BMW X3 engine...

BMW Toronto incorrectly diagnosed my BMW X3 engine issues, namely transmission and drivetrain issues which led to the complete engine breakdown... and obviously they don't take responsibility at all...

When the message Drivetrain, Drive Moderately appeared on the dashboard, I immediately called BMW Toronto for a service appointment. After the diagnostic report, BMW Toronto advised me that the issue required the battery and accelerator pedal to be replaced. Moreover, BMW also recommended that the spark plugs be replaced. The total cost of the repairs amounted to $1,281.77.

Seventeen (17) days after the vehicle was serviced by BMW Toronto, the same issue occurred again. However, this time, it happened on the highway. Again, there was a sudden switch of the gearshift from drive to neutral, and deceleration of the vehicle from 100 km/hr to a complete stop accompanied with smoke emitting from the exhaust.

Since the vehicle was not drivable, it was towed to BMW Toronto. BMW Toronto performed a diagnostic and provided a vehicle repair estimate which amounted to $29,930.68 (total engine failure)...

The vehicle required extensive repairs despite the fact that it was serviced only two weeks prior for exactly the same issue. It behooves the mind that such a complete engine breakdown could not have been avoided nor that this issue was not diagnosed at the previous service appointment.
