I will definitely not be returning to Shepards Hotel. The hotel is known for being the part hotel on the Clearwater strip, but what I experienced was really just a bunch of 18 year olds. The bars, clubs and hotel reminded me of a high school homecoming. Not to mention, the staffing was horrible. The male and female bartenders at the Waves Night Club were tremendously rude to my family and I, it made us do uncomfortable we left. Since we were there for less than 10 minutes we asked for our $30 cover charges back and was denied. While the management seemed to listen to our concerns they seemed less than interested in what we had to say. While it does look like a beautiful hotel from the outside, if you are a family or over 18 years of age I recommend staying somewhere and going somewhere else to drink!
