It's very disappointing when an establishment you've been going to for over 10 years goes downhill. Unfortunately that's exactly where this fairly new manager Jason is sending Lynnwood grill...downhill. The lack of customer service skills, poor food preparation and just overall common sense that a MANAGER should have. I made a pick up order for what I usually order when I decide to eat here...wings...well done...buffalo bbq. My daughter picked up our order and when she got home I noticed the wings were kinda dry, a few burnt, and the sauce looked sticky and baked on. Now usually wings well done are cooked a little longer BEFORE you put the sauce on. Whoever cooked these wings decided to put the sauce on and then cook them a little longer which lead to my wings being what they were when I got them...dry, semi soggy, and partially burnt. I called back and spoke to Mattie. I told her what happened and asked if I could get some sauce to put on them because it had dried out. Didn't make a big deal...just wanted some sauce. Mattie was very nice and apologetic. She said that was fine. I told her I would have my boyfriend stop by because he was already out. He went in and told Mattie he was there for the sauce and that's when Jason came out. Jason asked him where the food was and he said at home. Jason then proceeded to lecture my man on how he should have brought the wings in because they usually charge for "extra" sauce. He then said "I'll give it to you this time but next time I'll have to charge you" as if he was doing us a favor by providing sauce for the dry wings we paid for. We're talking about a small plastic dipping sauce...I didn't ask for all new wings. I called and spoke to Jason. I asked why my boyfriend was treated like that and he said that he asked where the wings were because some guy just came in asking for sauce with no food in hand. I told him that he spoke to Mattie when he got there and I called and she knew he was coming for the sauce. I ask Jason... did Mattie not tell you? He said yes Mattie told me. If Mattie told you why did you say it as if a man randomly walked in and asked for sauce? Jason didn't have an answer and so my only conclusion is that it was the way the man looked and that's what I told him. He asked If I was implying that he was racist and my answer to that was that I'm not implying anything but I am saying you wouldn t give a different man that much attitude over a some sauce. He said he wanted to see the wings since I was asking for a replacement but I had to remind him again...I didn't ask for a replacement...I just asked for sauce. I offered to bring them up there and he said well they're an hour old now. At this point I had enough of Jason and his talking in circles trying to convince himself that a 50 cent cup of sauce warranted his poor customer service and terrible attitude. Something tells me this was not about the sauce for him. I did tell him I'd post a pic of the wings since he wanted to see them so here ya go!
