LACMA has been around for many years and is a collection of multiple museums on the property and the famous La Brea Tar Puts. They have a really nice Asian museum, contemporary art museum and many changing exhibits. They used to offer special discounts for AAA members on Saturday afternoons, not sure if they still do that. They also have the famous exhibit of the street light at the entrance off of Wilshire, which is also accessible after hours. It is definitely worth a stop if you are visiting the area. I have been many times over the years and there is always something new to see.
