So my party and I arrive at 630 for a 730 reservat...

So my party and I arrive at 630 for a 730 reservation at the restaurant. Everything was going great we grabbed a few drinks and sat outside, until at about 7:15 I got a call from the hostess. She informed me the credit card machines were down and they could only expect cash. Okay not a big deal I thought I ll hit an ATM. Well there is no ATM on site so I had to leave my party and drive to the nearest gas station to get cash. Needless to say I m not thrilled but I m trying to go with the flow. I get back to the restaurant and the staff seems shocked that we are willing to stay and thanked us. From that point on it all went down hill. It turns out that most of the systems were down it took over 20 mins to get two of the four drinks we ordered and than another 10 once we flagged down our server to ask if anyone was getting the rest of our order.... Mind you there are 3 women at the hostess stand and four or five guys standing in the opposite corner none of them seeming to do much of anything. I know my server was doing her best in the moment but she clearly had no help from any support staff. From there apps are served they were fine. Then comes entrees, they were dropped by a running who didn t even offer to clear the plates from our apps. I waited about five minutes before I cleared the table myself and dropped the dirty plates at the bar. Two of us ordered the sea scallops, they sounded great but yet again we were disappointed the food had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for way to long as the grits had formed a solid state and the scallops were gummy. At the end of it all there was no manager in sight walking the restaurant making sure guests were taken care of as the restaurant was a complete disaster, no we were given a coupon good for 50% off ONE drink down stairs. That s right a $200 bill and a terrible experience and we were offered ONE half off drink. Thanks but no thanks I will never be coming back. I have been to Guinness in Ireland and the level of service and attention to the guests and their needs is top priority. I d have to guess that the company would be ashamed to be affiliated with the Baltimore location.
