A while ago I drove from Helmond with my wife to Nederweert for an ice cream. Along the way I picked up my seriously ill mother in Someren. She has serious heart failure and therefore has a very strict diet. My wife and I took a haircut and my mother was only allowed to eat 1 scoop due to her diet. It was told by the girl behind the counter that my wife and I were allowed to take a seat in the ice cream parlor at a table, but that my mother had to sit on a bench or stay outside. My mother couldn't come out so much anymore, so this was really an outing for her. Incidentally, she cannot stand longer than 2 minutes.
It was not super busy and there was enough space at the tables.
Perhaps it is a tip to inform the holiday forces that it is necessary to look at each situation. You cannot simply force people to sit outside alone. Eating a sundae on a bench is also not an option, without a table. Eventually, when we indicated that we were going to another case, we were allowed to sit down at a table with great reluctance.
