Pool snob here! It's great that the pool is heated ... it only got to about 60 on our mini-vacation to VA Beach ... and we enjoyed the outdoor pool a lot to spite the cold temperatures. The indoor pool is very nice too only the seating is a bit awkward. Staff was attentive and polite, rooms are a good size and ocean views are soothing to the soul. The sun deck is spatious and well maintained and the lobby has seating inside and out front. We did not eat at Lager Heads (the on site restaurtant) but there are great restaurants within walking distance. We had two small kids with us ... so that's a big plus. Italian across the street, plenty of pizza, chicken nuggets and pancake houses!
