Update: I have now openly complained on Google and with a direct comment back to the hospital from their website. I have also sent my contact information to the email address below one day after it was posted. No one has called me no one has emailed me and I have not gotten one text message.

I went in for abdominal pain for my Crohn's Disease. In the past I have had mental and physical issues with a steroid (Prednisone) so I avoid it as much as possible. I met with the doctors (2) after leaving the ER in my room upstairs. Both tried to prescribe prednisone even after I asked them not to use that as my treatment. Instead of being angry at the moment and causing an issue I decided to make sure it was not the steroids they had put me on the night before in the ER (do not remember consenting but was in a lot of pain and they gave me pain meds). I took a nap and cooled off to see if this was still a major issue for me and when I called the nurse back in she had confirmed they had prescribed prednisone to be administered in my IV. I requested to leave the hospital and left so I did not have to take this drug. The reason I gave this two stars is the nursing staff deserves 10 stars and the doctor staff with the inability to listen deserve zero stars. Crohn's disease is bad enough without having to fight for your own rights as a patient.
