My experience with this dealership is with the service department, not with buying a vehicle. An appointment was made for service work related to a Ford safety recall weeks before bringing in the car. The recall identifying number was shared at that time. We're told after dropping off the car that the part needed for the service is not in stock and it will need to be ordered from Portland. Why was the part not ordered before the day of service when all the details of the service appointment were shared and made weeks in advance? Apparently, zero planning or fore thinking went into this. We're told the car will probably be ready three days later. We call three days later at 3 in the afternoon because we have not heard anything about what time to come pick up the car. We're told then and only then that the part was not in Portland and they had to order it from California now. When was the service department going to tell us this? Now we're being told another four days.
