Is it possible to give zero stars? This ER is a terrifying joke. Utterly disorganized and chaotic. Staff appeared inexperienced at best, incompetent at worst. WHATEVER YOU DO, do not take an infant or child to this ER. I was unaware they do not have a pediatric unit at this hospital. The staff have no experience with children or babies and will be unable to perform basic procedures such as blood draws. My fevering newborn did not even receive ordered Tylenol for 4 hours due to basic communication failure. That is the absolute tip of the iceberg. No one could get an IV or blood and he was tortured for a lumbar puncture multiple times despite knowledge that he was imminently being transferred to a peds specialty hospital where it could be done by someone qualified. A nurse (not my nurse) kept entering my room to give her negative opinion of what the PA and doctor were telling me and basically insisted that I stop torturing my baby and leave, and that my baby was fine. (He wasn't.) I saw the doctor one time in about 7 hours and that was for him to introduce himself when we got into the room. After transferring by ambulance to a children's hospital, they failed to notify the new hospital that the blood sample they got (after multiple attempts) had clotted and was unusable for cultures until nearly 12 hours later, so we had no viable cultures as my baby had started antibiotics by this point. Did I mention it was a disorganized disaster? Nobody had any idea what they, or anyone else, was doing.

Let me be clear, I would not use this ER as an adult either. I listened to the man in the next room vomit every 2 minutes for at least 30 minutes after being brought in by ambulance, begging for help, his call button ringing, and no one came. Unbelievable.

I could go on. It was like a very unfunny circus. Do not use this ER if you value your time, your money, or your life..
