Had lunch in their bistro which is in the basement...

Had lunch in their bistro which is in the basement. I found it a little too small and dark. It certainly doesn't fit in with the grandeur of the rest of the building. I felt I was missing the sunny weather and beautiful rooms above.

The food was very tasty and enjoyable. The portions were lunch sized (no surprise there) but the prices were more like mains.

Most dishes were served on pretentious wooden boards. Not ideal if you have whole boiled potatoes.

Overall, the food was enjoyable and I would have gladly paid the premium if I wasn't eating in a dungeon.
