Came in early right before lunch opening and caught a glimpse of all the staff members huddling together for a pep talk, a short team chant and a merry go round of high-fiving each other; reminded me of a professional sports team ritual getting ready to kill it on the field. Their weapon of choice is the torch flame (aka aburi style) to bring out the smokey taste and crunchy texture of multiple dishes such as the Salmon Oshi. The Kobe beef Nigiri tasted satisfying like watching Kobe making a three pointer. The decor looks and feels nice. The service was impeccable and our waiter was professional/humorous.
