What an amazing place. It looks and feels like a mirage. Rent your sand boards from the Oasis, which is on the way and a couple miles from the entrance to the park. Do NOT try to use a snow sled, cardboard, plastic tub lid, or whatever else as it doesn't work in the sand. The boards are only $20 each and take the wax they give you, you'll need it! Fun for the whole family. Wear plenty of sunscreen regardless of the weather, and bring a sweatshirt. Weather changed quickly out there.
