Understandably a company that's job is to critique what you've created is likely to inflame its users, but I honestly expected better. I got a free CV review from them and I believe the feedback should be more constructive.

They said they found my design "visually uneven", lacking "polish", and it should be "clean, uncluttered and with effective and strategic use of white space". From where I'm standing, that's no help whatsoever. Would it be better if I moved things around, should I remove this section. Rather than throwing buzz words at me, telling me what's bad and where so that I can actually fix it would've been more productive. Understandably their a business so on some level they'll always be trying to convince me what I have is bad and that I should use their services to come up with something better... but I expect a neutral review. Not a longwinded ad for all the features your service offers that my CV lacks.

It wasn't all bad. I can tell the review was (partly) written by a person. They did mention my career summary not being as strong as it could be (which I agree with). I'll give them 2 stars in good faith, for a free review that seems fair. I wouldn't pay for what I got though.
