It's obviously a 5 star hotel with all the 5 star facilities. The rooms are very good. We got upgraded to the Palm View from the Ocean view. Beautiful views, private beach, an array of Michelin star Restaurants to choose from, amazing service etc. But one very important thing every tourist needs to know is that you need to carry your passports along for every family member when you check in the hotel, so even if you have a baby you need to produce it at the reception in order for the baby to enter the room. They do not allow any tourist with no passport to check in.

The reason I explicitly mentioned it is because a lot of us have many family and friends in Dubai, and we may stay with them sometimes and may check in to another location a few days later to explore. So make sure your always carrying your passport when you do so.

In December the Hotel is a lot more crowded. So the waterpark is even more crowded with other water park members as well so every major slide has a waiting of minimum 20 minutes in queues. So visit early if you want to explore all the slides. And they have all kinds of slides. The Leap of faith is exhilarating.

The other options apart from the Water Park (Complementary for hotel residents) if your staying for a couple of days: There's a Sea Lion selfie( Complimentary for hotel residents), there's Dolphins Bay( additional charge),there's the Lost Chambers Aquarium ( Complimentary for Hotel Residents) etc.
