I'm one of the unfortunate military people that have been forced off Ft. Knox.. to this laughable excuse for a place of care, do no harm, and bedside manner. If they have a SOP for check in it changes per visit. , the admissions personnel are rude , crass ans obnoxious.. I had the unfortunate incident of having surgery there a few days ago. I would suggest if you dont like your job, change it. Ive had plenty of surgeries throughout my career and been in many hospitals visiting families, soldiers etc and this is unquestionably the worst hospital ive ever walked into in the United States and overseas. I understand people have bad days. But maybe HMH doesn't like the military? I was treated as a burden not a patient. Then only ones the were amazing were the recovery staff who were amazing. Upon returning to my room.. and a bit the nurse asked what my pain level was. I ask her some questions and told her they had giving me something downstairs so i dont know how long ago it was. She basically stated well you're gonna have pain you had surgery, is it like a 7, 8 ,9 .. i was infuriated.. i was like ty captain obvious i realize i had a procedure so you're telling me or trying to make me feel bad if i am hurting. So whats Hardins sop on giving pain meds and being sarcastic.. i mean 3/4 are on this or that.. . So then it was the you urinated you can leave.. im was like um you got someplace to be.. or is it your smoke break or do you need to be rude to another service member. I would never have another procedure, i would encourage ALL military personnel that were forced of Fort Knox to ensure your Primary has privileges at Norton, Lville etc.. ( also Baptist owns hmh) you can change your provider by calling humana tricare.. oh.. i didn't even mention the guy they released from the the ER that coded in the parking lot...
And i dont know whose giving this hospital good reviews, obviously friends or family of employees... lol...
