Went here for Christmas lunch with my family. I had told them a couple of weeks in advance that my husband and I were both vegan and they said we would have our own entree, main and dessert as opposed to being able to choose from the set menu like everyone else (which we were fine with). However, on the day it was like they had no idea and had to make something up on the spot from small bits and pieces from the other dishes. Entree was basically a cut up tomato with oil. Main was actually quite yum but it would've been better as an entree and they said there was no dessert for us so we sat there feeling left out while we watched everyone else enjoy their 3rd course. They couldn't even whip up a simple fruit salad even though I know they had fruit in the kitchen they were using for cocktails. I know it's really not that hard, they were just super lazy and did not care about us at all. Not cool for the amount of money my grandma was paying for us and I highly doubt they charged her less for our meals. Very disappointing for a Melbourne restaurant in this day and age. Positive feedback is that the staff were mainly friendly and the service wasn't bad.
