I will not post facts of my case as it has not happened. However my Public Defender, Pamela Hoffman, has been very informative on what could happen. Good, bad, or irrelevant other side arguments. She has not missed a single appointment, and has been available to speak in person or by phone after every court hearing. No one likes the Devil's Advocate, but trial isn't about feelings. It's what can be proved beyond a doubt reasonably. I believe Mrs./Ms. Hoffman will protect her client/oath with integrity while defending me this January 2019.
This is the first time I have used a Public Defender. This instance, disability income doesn't allow a private lawer. There for I have no experience with Public Defenders. I honestly hope when it's over. I get to update my review and add 2 stars. As well that Public Defenders aren't as bad as stated by so many (excluding me) others! Long live dedicated attorneys, and loyal/loving dads who protect their kids from abusive ex's and their family money! I will be happy to share my personal positive experience. If it happens and once it's public information. My review is positive/neutral at present but honest. Update 02/2019. Just wait till the programs complete. I'm coming unglued with what happend in it's entirety! 2 or 3 stars will be my review regardless as she wasn't unscrupulous, but she was without question overworked and unable to give proper attention. One court morning she announced she had 117 clients on that days docket. No wonder they're racking in dividends on divergents who have no choice but to bow to their whim.
