In 2001 they released my sister from this hospital when she was still having a mental episode. It was irresponsible of Rockford to release her. She could have been a danger to me, my family and society. My sister had another episode of bi-polar disorder in 2016 and she is still not well, but Rockford is not a long term treatment center so they are releasing her already when she could still be a danger to society. People who are extremely unwell should be treated and not thrown out onto the streets. Rockford could endanger the lives of the people of Delaware. My sister was diagnosed with extreme psychosis at one time, and when she has an episode she is very scary and dangerous. Rockford, why do you exist if you just throw people out before they are well? Why do you exist if other mental institutions such as the Delaware Psychiatric Hospital or Meadow Wood can make my sister better and you can't? Every time she has an episode, they put her in Rockford, but Rockford turns her out before she is helped, then another hospital takes her and fixes her up. What's the point?
