What an amazing experience. I had lived in the Den...

What an amazing experience. I had lived in the Denver area and had no idea this place was even in existence. But while back in town I saw an ad in a magazine and decided to visit.
When you first come in you are asked to watch a video. Be prepared to cry at how they show what some of these creatures had to endure before being rescued. And then how heartwarming it is to see them in an environment where they are happy and healthy.
Romeo was a real treat. Who would have ever thought a mountain lion would meow when you said its name!
I have to say that all the volunteers were beyond friendly. They all went out of their way to chat with me, tell me the stories of the animals and help me out along the way.
A must visit. (oh and be sure to bring al il extra for a donation. They survive solely on donations and appreciate every little bit of help they can get!)
