Jaffa Gate, the main entrance gate to the Old City...

Jaffa Gate, the main entrance gate to the Old City for Jews and tourists.
Jaffa Gate became the main gate mainly due to the development of Jaffa Street, especially when the important part of the street gate close to the Mamilla and Alrov.
Close to the Citadel of the Tower of David.
Above the gate is an inscription that tells us who built the gate and when, and this is the language:
"In the name of Allah, the Merciful and the Merciful, the Lord, the Great Sultan, King of the Romans (the inhabitants of Asia Minor), the Arabs and the Priests, Sultan Sulaiman bin Salim Khan (the Magnificent), proclaimed the year 945 (Muslim) . "
Just as you enter the gate on the left, there is the information station of the Ministry of Tourism where you can get lots of information maps and much material
Next to the station are a tree and two graves hiding behind an iron fence.
And when you go inside you start to see parking lots and kiosks.
It is recommended to arrive during the Festival of Light in June.
Attached are pictures.
Or in November at the Knights' Festival.
